Your “free content” should come from your “paid content”!
What does that mean?
Let’s say you have an Online Course that is 5 ‘Modules” long…
And each module has 5 x 5min “Units”…
e.g.
Module 1:
Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3, Unit 4, Unit 5
Module 2:
Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3, Unit 4, Unit 5
etc etc
Each one of those “units” could be a “piece of content” that you post for free on Social Media (not the whole 5-minute video taken exactly from the course… but you may make a post with a summarised version of it!
(For example… this post here is a based on a Unit in my Course “How to Create a Wildly Engaged (& Profitable) Facebook Group”)
Let’s say you post one piece of content a week… With the system above – you have 25 pieces of content (5 x 5 = 25)…
That’s 6 months’ worth of content…
And… For the other 6 months of the Year… You can just repurpose this content again (In 6 months’ time, your Audience has forgotten what you posted about 6 months ago… and you’ve probably got a whole heap of new followers too)!
If you’re worried about people not buying your course because they could just get the whole thing for free if they followed you on Social Media for 6 months…
So be it… The people that are happy to wait 6 months to see your content just so they can get it for free are not your ideal buyers… Your ideal buyers are going to be the people that don’t want to wait 6 months because they want/need your solution NOW!
Bottom line… As a Course Creator, you should NEVER run out of content!
